Haunted The Mediator #5 Meg Cabot Books
Suze had just had an exhausting summer vacation and was happy to be going back to school where things were normal. Unfortunately for Suze, her life was just going to get weirder. For one thing, the guy who haunted her nightmares because he just tried to kill her, the gorgeous but evil Paul Slater, is now going to her high school. For another, Jesse, the love of her life who just happens to be a 150-year old ghost haunting her room, has been avoiding her since that great kiss they had shared a few weeks ago. Then there was Sleepy's new college friend, who just happened to have his dead brother tagging along behind him insisting that he deserved to live and his brother should be the one who was dead. Of course, Suze still had to worry about student elections, her social life and how those new shoes she bought were just killing her! Looks like it is going to be another busy year in the life of Suze Simon, Mediator.I enjoyed this book, but I think that it is the weakest of the Mediator series. For one thing, Suze spends a lot more time being a girl and being scared than in the other books. For another, it just wasn't as funny and the author dropped the Sleepy, Dopey & Doc nicknames for her stepbrothers - hello, who the heck are Jake, Brad and David? Anyway, I would have to say that this, the fifth book in the series, was a bit of a letdown, but it was still a great book. Even when Cabot/Carroll isn't at the top of her game, she is still a great author! Well worth your time to read, but I highly recommend the other books in this series, as well as the 1-800-Where-R-U series (Lightning Girl, etc.).

Haunted The Mediator #5 Meg Cabot Books Reviews
Another great series.
Part of the best series!
I just love them, that's all there is to it. Two great characters, well, more than two, but I read them all one after the other way into the night.
I first came across this series on audio book when I was looking for something light for an overnight drive. I was unemployed at the time, so I picked it up at the local library. I didn't realize the title I had picked up was the first in a series, but I enjoyed it so much that I immediately searched out the remaining titles at the library when I returned home and *devoured* them. That was almost 2 years ago, and these books still stick in my mind enough that I have slowly been purchasing the entire series to own now that I am getting back on my feet financially. While the situations in this book get a little ridiculous, the strength of the relationships between the characters keeps me connected to the story and coming back for more.
Each of these books is a complete story in itself, but all the books make up a greater story.
This is one more great story in the series, and one more stepping-stone toward the end.
I've reread this so many times!
While this one I did like .... A couple of things I didn't. Suze was a little more dramatic in this one in relation to Paul .... I like Paul.... And ... Yeah
Great book, really one of the best in the series!!!!
Suze is trying to live a normal life, well as normal as it can be being a Mediator and being in love with your romate the ghost of an XIX century hottie, also known as JESSE. Suze thought everything would be fine after that kiss, but then suddenly Jesse stops calling her Querida and avoids her at all cost.
Enter Paul, whom you might remember from Darkest Hour. Yeah, problems follow that guy, mostly because he is the one who cause them. Paul has his eye on Suze and will go any lenghts to get her.
Confused hearts, Romance, and some buttkicking! What more can you ask for?
